Thames Valley Drones offers professional aerial photography, in terms of both stills & video, across Berkshire & the Thames Valley
Thames Valley Drones operates beyond its Berkshire base delivering aerial photography into Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex & Warwickshire on a routine basis, and nationally on bespoke projects. We operate some of the most advanced drone technology in its class to deliver stunning high quality aerial photography and video wherever needed.
Taking your aerial photography & video to the next level...In addition to our drone and camera skills, Berkshire-based Thames Valley Drones has in-house video editing & graphic design capabilities enabling us to provide you with either raw files for your designer(s) to use or finished edited images, outputs and video ready for you to use with your clients or in your marketing. Being centrally located, Berkshire-based Thames Valley Drones is ideally positioned to meet your aerial photography or video requirements.
Aerial photography more affordable than ever
With the recent developments in drone technology it is now possible to get access to great aerial photography at the kind of cost and with the degree of flexibility not previously available with a traditional helicopter, light aircraft or aerial camera masts. Helicopter rental alone (excluding camera operator / equipment / special permissions) can typically cost £1,300 / hour.
Greater access and unrivalled manoeuvreability
In general drone aerial photography operates to a maximum height limit of 400 feet, with helicopters & light aircraft generally having a lower limit of 500 feet over uncongested areas (1,000 feet over any congested area of a city, town, or settlement, or over any open air assembly of persons, with the altitude of 1,000 feet being required above the highest obstacle).
The operating minimums of drones enable them to get in closer to their subject and operate with greater agility and maouevreability especially in confined areas. This level of manoeuvreability can be partficularly useful when flying close to objects, for example when doing structural & roof surveys, find out more. This combined with filming in 4K or 2.7k HD delivers high quality / high resolution images and footage to meet the most exacting client requirements.
In addition, drone-based aerial photography (with the types of drones used by Thames Valley Drones) makes ultra low level shots, as well as the more 'recognisably drone' high level or overhead shots, possible to add a real sense of drama to your stills photography or video.
In addition to drone-based aerial photography we also offer property photography specifically for estate agents, land agents and developers.
